The Long Island Videographers Association (LIVA) was founded in 1988 by James F. Kennedy who also became LIVA's first President and remained so up until 1997. LIVA was created so that local wedding videographers could come together to learn about new technologies and techniques, while networking with other dedicated professionals. Today, we are one of the largest and most respected local video associations with members coming from all across Long Island, the five boroughs of NYC and Westchester. Our Membership includes some of the world's finest Event Film Makers, with multiple International Award Winners.

We meet on the second Tuesday of the month
(except August and December) at the
Long Island Marriott in Uniondale, NY.
Networking runs from 6:30 to 7:30pm and the Education runs from 7:30 to 11pm.
